M+V

France is the route we run most.

France is the route we run most. Channel hop from London, south by motorway. Direct routes for full vans; consolidated runs for partial loads. Customs paperwork is the bit other man-and-van outfits skip — we don't.

EORI registered. ToR1 filed at the UK end. French douanes paperwork filed at the entry point. Bilingual French coordinator on the destination side handles the gardien, the syndic, the parking permit chain. Calls a customer shouldn't have to make in their second language on delivery day.

What we lift

What's in the fixed price.

  • Door-to-door collection from any London postcode

Z1 to Z6 plus the immediate adjacencies. Same crew loads in London and stays with the load to the French destination.

  • Bilingual French coordinator

Native French-speaking. Handles gardiens, syndics, regional couriers, parking permits.

  • EORI and ToR1 filing

Filed with HMRC. Free if you don't have an EORI yet — we sort the application.

  • French douanes paperwork

Filed at the entry point with bilingual customs inventory. Settled at the frontier, not your doorstep.

  • Goods-in-transit insurance

All-risks cover from London depot to French keys. Underwritten by a UK marine insurer.

  • Two-man crew on request

Available for stairs, awkward floors, heavy lifts, pianos. Costed in the quote.

  • Storage at either end

London depot and partner depots in Lille, Lyon, Marseille. Flexible duration.

The paperwork

What you need to bring.

Carte de séjour · French residency permit
Required for stays over 90 days in any 180. Apply at the prefecture for your destination département. We time the move so your goods arrive after the appointment is confirmed.
EORI number · UK Economic Operator Registration
Free from HMRC for any UK-EU goods movement. We file if you don't have one.
ToR1 declaration · Transfer of Residence relief
Most household goods owned more than six months move duty-free. Filed by us at the UK end.
Avis d'imposition · French tax notice
Some long-let landlords ask to see one. New arrivals won't have one yet — speak to a French notaire on substitute documentation.
Bilingual customs inventory · Inventory document
Itemised list, English + French. Prepared from survey notes. Not a form you fill in.
Where we go

Five regions, one corridor.

  • Paris

The 75 to 78 départements. Permit-restricted zones in the centre. We handle the parking-permit chain with the mairie where required.

  • Provence

Aix, Avignon, Lubéron villages. Stone steps, narrow lanes, the occasional crane lift. Two-man crew default.

  • Dordogne

Périgord stone houses, rural drop-points. Generator and ramps for properties off the mains.

  • Brittany

Saint-Malo, Rennes, Vannes. Plymouth or Portsmouth ferry where the schedule favours it.

  • Côte d'Azur

Nice, Cannes, Antibes. Gated developments, concierge clearance. Destination team handles it.

LONDON FRANCE
Price

Fixed price quoted from your inventory and route. Variables are volume, distance, access at both ends, partial-load vs. full-van. No bolt-ons, no day-of-move adjustments. Quote includes transit, customs, insurance, door-to-door handling.

I had one Sprinter van of stuff and a deadline. Most firms wanted me to wait for a consolidation slot or pay full-corporate-removals rates. These guys gave me a fixed price the same day, turned up at the Camden flat at 7 am, drove direct, met me in Toulouse two days later. Customs already cleared. Boxes off the van, gone.
