Man+Van
About

A small crew. A serious van. Lifting since 2013.

London-based. Four destinations. No corporate softness, no anonymous national chain. Same crew loads in N1 and meets you in Nice.

Single van. Single crew. End-to-end.

We're a man-and-van outfit with one rule: the crew that loads in London is the crew that delivers at the destination. No sub-contracting, no warehouse handoff, no different driver at every stage. One van, one crew, your move.

The brief came from the customer side. People who'd been quoted by big removals firms wanted something simpler — a van, a crew, a fixed price, a phone that gets answered. That's what we built. Single-item delivery. Partial loads. Full vans. Four destinations. No menu of bolt-ons.

Lifting is the work.

The man-and-van category exists because lifting is the hard part of a move. Sofas through narrow doorways. Pianos down stair turns. Fridges up to fourth-floor flats with awkward lifts. We have the kit and the crew for all of it — stair-climbing trolleys, piano cradles, furniture-mover blankets, two-man crew on request.

What we don't do: tell you everything is "no problem" and then send a single 18-year-old with a broken trolley. The lift is what the booking is about. We turn up with the right kit and the right number of crew.

BAR Overseas Group.

Most man-and-van outfits aren't BAR-registered. We are. Member of the British Association of Removers' Overseas Group, which means: code of conduct, formal dispute resolution, financial protection on advance payments. Goods-in-transit cover on every move, all-risks options for fragile and high-value items.

The certificate of insurance comes attached to your written quote. The BAR terms are referenced on the booking confirmation. The advance-payment protection means your deposit is safe even if anything goes wrong on our end.

Why four destinations.

France, Italy, Spain, Portugal. Four routes built up over the last decade. We don't pretend to do Germany, the Netherlands, the Nordics, or anywhere outside Europe. Staying narrow means we know each route end-to-end — the customs queue at the Brenner, the comunidad president on the Costa, the strada bianca to your villa in Tuscany. The narrower the menu, the better the service.
